Refuting Racisim
This is a heavy subject, but one I'd consider myself knowledgeable with.
I've seen a lot of facts, a lot of opinions, a lot of statistics, a lot of testimonies, and even have some lived experience of my own.
(I'll site sources for core clinical information claims at the bottom)
Today, I'm going to be working against the points of foundation for racism to prove it's a foolish construct put in place to divide people as humans.
But before that... I figure I should state my own race for context: I'm mixed European-Native, more specifically (but not too detailed) I have a heck of a lot of Anglo and Eastern European (Ukrainian-Polish+) ancestors, plus deep roots in indigenous America (the American Southwest and Mesoamerica.) And to less considerable extents: Germanic, Latin, Celtic, and more. So I'm quite the mix, my ancestors would appear inclusive, and I think I've got a say in the issue of racism.
• The first point I'd like to make is that humans are overwhelmingly similar from a biological perspective,
In fact; the difference between person A and person B of the same race are more genetically distinct from each other than race A and race B (in a general sense, obviously close family members are going to be very similar)
The biggest genetic differences between humans isn't between races, but genders (saying as RoyalProto would; that doesn't mean you should go dehumanizing women, you sick FREAKS.)
I may've just obligated myself to making an article on misogyny, but I wouldn't mind that. (I may even collab with a female fan.)
• Now for the "___ people make up ___% of ___ and are responsible for ___." People;
correlation ≠ causation.
Does ice cream cause sunburns? Does the consumption of margarine spike Maine's divorce rates? Do gas station sushi sales induce people to listen to "Gandam Style" on YouTube?
Does the consumption of diet food cause diabetes, or is it just because diabetic people are more likely to consume diabetic-safe products?
These questions sound insane until you apply the same logic elsewhere. (Unless you're willing to be lenient in your conclusion)
The overwhelming degree of violence in Central American countries isn't because their populations are predominantly Hispanic, it's because they're between the largest drug producers and the largest population of drug consumers. (Meaning heavy drug traffic across the region)
And no, Poland isn't the safest country in Europe because it has the most "Whites" per capita, it's because they have a well managed border that prevents dangerous people (of all races) from coming in freely.
• "White people are so diverse, all brown people look the same!"
Modern Europeans are decended from three main populations, the Hunter-gatherers, the Paleothelictic Farming peoples, and the Indo-European Steppe peoples, (and in some populations; Turkic and Uralic people.) No wonder they posses a variety of different genes generally scattered across the world (there are still natural blondes, redheads, and blue-eyed people belonging to different races around the world. There are natural blondes in several parta of Asia, with the Melanesians having the most blondes per capita outside Europe due to an independent mutation. The gene responsible for red hair is prevalent among all populations on Earth, but most common among celts. And blue eyes are actually pretty darn common in places like the Middle-East/Levant. But I'm not diving into all the science of hair colors, just saying, Europeans aren't more sophisticated and evolved than any other population.)
• Of course, just because humans are incredibly similar from a biological perspective doesn't mean you can't embrace your heritage. Humans were made beautifully different, the real problems are elevating an ethnic group above all others and dehumanizing people for who their ancestors are.
• Anyways, for the rest of this article, I'll be attacking apologetics that appeal to "Christian racism" with a few rapid-fire points as many "Christians" seem to find it Biblical (foolishly so)
1: Humans are created equal (Genesis 1:26–27, Proverbs 22:2, and Galatians 3:28.)
2: The Bible affirms all tribes and languages will come/be used (respectively) to bring praises in Heaven.(Revelation 7:9)
3: As observed in the accounts of Genesis and by anthropologists; all humans share a common ancestor, meaning all decended populations from that line (Adam's) are equally human (If Europeans are human, (being direct descendents of the first man) than all people in a continuous line of humans are human. Which includes Africans, Asians, Arabs, Indians, Native Americans, Inuits, Aboriginal Australians, Pacific Islanders, ALL OF THE ABOVE.)
And that concludes it, thank you for reading, drop your thoughts, and if you're a woman interested in making a collaboration article on misogyny or similar subjects, I'm open.
Have a wonderful day, all you beautiful people👉 (respectfully)
Remember: there's no such thing as ugly people, only ugly prespectives.
And... I'm done now.
Go drink some candy, vacuum your ceiling, and take your fish for a walk.
